Prior to joining Syracuse.com, Emily spent time at USA Today, the News & Obeserver (Raleigh) and Columbia Missourian. She's covered three Division I football seasons, including ones that featured coach firings and departures, NCAA sanctions and AP Top 25 rankings. Between 2020 and 2022, Emily received three awards from the Associated Press Sports Editors and one from the Association of Women in Sports Media.
