Syracuse, N.Y. – Rep. Brandon Williams, a Republican seeking reelection in Central New York, will answer questions in a live Q and A with syracuse.com at 1:30 p.m. today.
The Q and A interview will be streamed live above and on the syracuse.com Facebook page. A recording will be available for viewing after the live event.
Williams, R-Sennett, agreed to join syracuse.com reporter Kevin Tampone in our Syracuse office to answer questions for about 30 minutes.
Williams will face state Sen. John Mannion, D-Geddes, in the 22nd Congressional District election in November.
Williams, 57, is a first-term Republican who will also appear on the Conservative Party ballot line.
Mannion, 56, is a two-term Democratic state Senator. He will also appear on the Working Families Party line.
The 22nd District election is considered one of the most competitive House races in the nation this year. Democrats and Republicans view the district as a key to winning control of the House.
The district spans all of Onondaga and Madison counties, and parts of Cayuga, Cortland and Oneida counties.
