Syracuse, NY -- Crouse Hospital unveiled a new walk-in entrance Friday that it hopes will improve safety and efficiency at the city’s highest-volume emergency room.

The improvements will allow Crouse to see roughly 6,000 more patients a year, a 10% increase, without sacrificing quality, estimated CEO Dr. Seth Kronenberg.
