Syracuse native Post Malone drops country album with big-name guests
Post Malone has finally released his highly anticipated country album, “F-1 Trillion.” The 18-track collection features singles “I Had Some Help” (with Morgan Wallen), “Pour Me a Drink” (with Blake Shelton), “Guy For That” (with Luke Combs) and collaborations with other big-name guests, including Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and Chris Stapleton. The Grammy-nominated rapper and singer, who was born Austin Post in Syracuse and lived in Central New York until he was 10, will also unleash his country era on new tour dates, including an upcoming sold-out concert at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview on Saturday, Sept. 14.
New music
Other new releases this week include a Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars collaboration, “Die with a Smile,” plus music from Hozier, Demi Lovato, Mary J. Blige, Ray LaMontagne, Josh Turner and Drake.
