Suspensions decline in Onondaga County school districts (Search data for all of NY)

Syracuse, N.Y. — Suspensions in most Onondaga County school districts were either flat or declined during the 2022-2023 school year.

The total number of suspensions fell in nine districts and was unchanged in another three when comparing the 2021-2022 school year and the 2022-2023 year. Suspensions increased in the remaining six districts, according to data from the state Education Department.
