Second person dies after cars collide on rural Oswego County road, deputies say

Volney, N.Y. — A second person is dead after two cars collided Saturday on a rural road in Oswego County, deputies said.

Barbara Alfano, 79, of Fulton, has died, according to Lt. Andy Bucher, a spokesperson for the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.

Alfano was the passenger inside a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder that collided head-on with a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan that crossed the center line.
