The 52nd annual State Fair butter sculpture was unveiled today, even though the coronavirus canceled this year’s State Fair.
It’s always one of the most anticipated reveals of the year in Central New York. Thousands of visitors make the Dairy Products Building one of their first stops when visiting the State Fair.
But the sand sculpture is also oft-visited as well. Over the past dozen or so years, a team of sculptors has shaped more than 150 tons of sand into works of art.

Previous poll: As children are getting ready to return to school (in some sort), parents are busy doing their back-to-school shopping. We asked readers if they were shopping in person at stores or if they were buying their stuff online. 36% of you said you were shopping both online and in person, while 34% said you were doing it all in stores, and 30% were staying put at home.
