Charlie De Biase Jr. is a senior sports reporter for SILive.com. He is the head beat reporter for HS football, HS boys' and girls' soccer, HS boys' basketball and HS softball while also contributing to the HS girls' basketball and HS baseball beats as well. He is also the head beat reporter for Little League baseball and softball. Charlie has done the majority of stories announcing the college choices for Staten Island's student-athletes. He has been the recipient of several awards, including the Coaches Care Award (2018) and he was named a Staten Island Sports Hall of Fame Unsung Hero (2020). The St. Peter's Boys HS graduate has been a member of the Staten Island Advance/SILive.com's for 36 years and worked at the newspaper while attending Wagner College. He graduated from Wagner in 1993. In addition to his stint in the Sports Department, Charlie also worked in the Advance's Circulation Department and Mailroom for over two decades.
