The top women’s basketball players and teams in the world clash at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, with group play kicking off on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Team USA — the seven-time Olympic defending champions — have won nine gold medals across the 12 previous games since women’s basketball was introduced at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. The team is led by five-time Olympic Gold medalist Diana Taurasi under new head coach Cheryl Reeve. They handily won their group stage games, and have advanced to the knockout bracket.

Olympic basketball games are broadcast on CNBC, USA Network, NBC and E! and Spanish-language broadcasts are on Telemundo and NBC Universo.
