Olympic soccer schedule 2024: How to watch and stream every game at Paris Olympics

Olympic soccer is the ultimate showcase of the best soccer teams in the world, and the wait is over as the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris kicks off its men’s soccer tournament on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Brazil, the tournament’s two-time defending champion, failed to qualify for the 16-team men’s lineup, and left the field wide open for the likes of South American rival Argentina, or perennial European contenders Spain and France, to make runs on the tournament. It even created a chance for the United States, Egypt, Morocco and others to make bids for Olympic gold, but ultimately the gold medal game will be played between European rivals France and Spain. Egypt and Morocco will contest the bronze.

Olympic soccer games are broadcast on USA Network, and Spanish-language broadcasts are on Telemundo and NBC Universo. Select knockout stage games also air on E!. Televised games can be streamed on DirecTV Stream (free trial), fuboTV (free trial) and Sling ($25 off first month), but not every game in the tournament will air on cable TV. The United States Men’s National Team has failed to qualify for the last three Olympic men’s tournaments. The last time they achieved an Olympic berth was in Beijing in 2008, and during that Olympic Games, the Americans failed to advance out of the group stage after achieving a 1-1-1 record with just a single win over Japan.

New head coach Marko Mitrovic managed to return the team to the Olympic stage, and even secured a spot in the knockout stage thanks to a 2-0-1 performance in the Group Stage (losing only to France). The USA was shut out in a resounding 4-0 win for Morocco in the quarterfinals, despite a talented under-23 lineup including Orlando City forward Duncan McGuire and Colorado Rapids midfielder Djordje Mihailovic. Notable absences from the roster include American superstars Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie, who are both above the Olympic men’s age cap.
