American gymnast Simone Biles is set to make her third Olympic appearance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, with the potential of joining the top five most decorated female Olympic gymnasts of all time after winning seven Olympic medals from Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
Biles is expected to compete in all individual events, as well as the all-around and team competitions. She has the chance to become the first woman since 1968 to win the Olympic all-around title twice, and only the fourth woman overall. The all-around women’s event includes performance on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.
Following the Olympics opening ceremony on Friday, July 26, Biles will kick off her Paris campaign with women’s qualifying on Sunday, July 28. The artistic gymnastics events will run through Monday, August 5.
Olympic men’s and women’s gymnastics events are broadcast on USA Network, NBC and E!, and Spanish-language broadcasts are on Telemundo and NBC Universo.
