Syracuse, N.Y. -- Former Syracuse punter Nolan Cooley will sign an NFL contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to Rick Stroud, a reporter with the St. Petersburg Times.
Cooney won a training camp battle last season to make the Arizona Cardinals’ roster but was cut after four games.
