The village of Hamilton in Madison County had the highest full value tax rate in Central New York in 2023, according to data from the state comptroller’s office.

The village’s full value tax rate of $12.03 per $1,000 of full taxable value was the highest in a five-county region of Central New York and No. 52 statewide.
