The start of the New York Giants historic 100th NFL season is finally here. The Giants get back on the field for the 2024 NFL Preseason this week, with the regular season just around the corner. Fans can get single-game tickets to any of the Giants’ home, away or preseason games right now, to see Daniel Jones, Malik Nabers, Dexter Lawrence II and the rest of the 2024 New York Giants.
The New York Giants preseason starts Thursday, August 8 vs. the Detroit Lions at MetLife Stadium, and their home opener is Sunday, September 8 vs. the Minnesota Vikings. The Giants 17-game regular season schedule includes nine home showdowns in East Rutherford, including clashes with all three divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders. The Giants will also travel overseas to play the Carolina Panthers in Germany on November 10.
The Giants enter the season with tempered expectations, and the presence of just three primetime games on the schedule reflects that. But the Giants will still get some high profile action, including a Thanksgiving game against Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys, and the aforementioned clash in Munich.
The games every Giants fan will have their eyes on are during Week 7 and Week 18, when New York will clash with the hated Philadelphia Eagles. Already a storied rivalry, the New York-Philadelphia showdowns this year will feature Saquon Barkley — formerly one of the Giants’ biggest stars — suiting up on the other side of the field after the Giants didn’t offer a contract to the running back in free agency.
As of August 7, the cheapest preseason tickets I found overall are from StubHub for just $1 for Lions at Giants. The cheapest regular season, home game for the Giants is Colts at Giants in Week 17 for just $26 from StubHub.

How did the Giants do in 2023?
The New York Giants 2023-24 NFL season was a rollercoaster for the team and for fans that ultimately saw the Giants finish with a 6-11 record and miss the postseason entirely.
The season was marred with setbacks, including Daniel Jones suffering a torn ACL in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders, which dealt a major blow to New York’s offensive capabilities. However, the injury did allow former Syracuse University quarterback Tommy DeVito to briefly capture the hearts of Giants fans as he filled in for Jones, and led the team to three consecutive wins against the Commanders, Patriots and Packers. Ultimately, DeVito handed the reins back to Tyrod Taylor, who proved unable to lead the team to a win until the final game of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Giants still saw standout performances from the likes of Dexter Lawrence, who earned a Pro Bowl Selection, and Kayvon Thibodeaux, who made several impressive defensive plays during the season.
