PITTSBURGH — Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano was running through a drill he’s done thousands of times on the practice field in Orchard Park, N.Y. on Tuesday when disaster struck.
“It was just tackling drill,” Bills coach Sean McDermott said on Thursday before the Bills’ joint practice with the Pittsburgh Steelers. “Matt was tackling a bag and hit his arm and it looked like (he) maybe (hit it) on somebody’s leg, just a little bit. And that’s what we think was the episode.”
