Country music star Hank Williams Jr. is celebrating the 45th anniversary of his 1979 album and song, “Family Tradition,” with a 2024 tour that includes three stops in Upstate New York.

The Country Music Hall of Famer will perform first at the Bethel Woods Center of the Arts in Bethel on Thursday, July 25, then at the Broadview Stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in Saratoga Springs on Friday, August 23 and lastly at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse on Saturday, August 24. All three concerts start at 7 p.m.

He’ll be joined by special guest Whiskey Myers in Saratoga Springs and Syracuse and Ian Munsick and Payton Smith in Bethel.

The son of country music legend Hank Williams and the father of musicians Holly Williams and Hank Williams III, Hank Williams Jr. was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2020 thanks to a career that’s included hits like “Family Tradition,” “All My Rowdy Friends (Have Settled Down),” “Born to Boogie,” “Honky Tonkin’” and “Mind Your Own Business.”
