Former Baldwinsville pitcher Scott Blewett signed with the Minnesota organization in the off-season and was promoted to the Twins on Friday.
Syracuse, N.Y. — Scott Blewett has earned another chance in the major leagues.
The former Baldwinsville standout was recalled by Minnesota on Friday to help plug a gap in middle relief. To make room for Blewett on the 26-man roster, the Twins have placed right-handed pitcher Joe Ryan on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder strain.
