The New York Mets face the Chicago Cubs in game 4 this afternoon at 1 p.m. ET on SNY and Marquee Sports. Jose Butto had a strong outing for the Mets in Game 3, allowing just a single run and four hits across six innings pitched. But that run was all it took to win, as the Cubs took a 1-0 victory at Citi Field, and the Mets offense failed to perform against Shoto Imanaga, who allowed just three hits and zero runs across seven innings. Imanaga’s now 0.78 ERA after his first 6 career starts ranks fourth in MLB history.

Pete Crow-Armstrong drove home the only run of the game with his deep right field sacrifice fly at the Top of the 5th inning to send Matt Mervis home.

The game might have been a low-scoring affair, but it was packed with outfield action, including a juggling catch back in the warning track by Ian Happ, a buttery sliding catch by Harrison Bader at the top of the 8th and a huge toss home by Happ to nab Pete Alonso on what would have been the tying run of the game.
