Aerosmith is saying “Peace Out” after more than 50 years of music.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band announced its farewell tour dates Monday, including one Upstate New York concert: Jan. 16, 2024, at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. Special guest The Black Crowes will open the show at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 5, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Prices may vary.

Tickets are expected to sell fast, so fans may want to check resellers like VividSeats, StubHub, Megaseats, TicketNetwork or SeatGeek for tickets.

The Buffalo concert is one of 40 dates scheduled for Aerosmith’s final tour, dubbed “Peace Out.” Other shows scheduled within driving distance of Syracuse include performances in Philadelphia (Sept. 2), Pittsburgh (Sept. 6), Belmont Park in Long Island (Sept. 9), Toronto (Sept. 12), in the band’s hometown of Boston on New Year’s Eve, and at Madison Square Garden in New York City (Jan. 19).

Guitarist Joe Perry said other dates may be added, but confirmed it’s the “final farewell tour.”

“I think it’s about time,” Perry told the Associated Press. “You never know how much longer everybody’s going to be healthy to do this. … It’s been a while since we’ve actually done a real tour. We did that run in Vegas, which was great. It was fun, but (we’re) kind of anxious to get back on the road.”

Perry will be touring with frontman Steven Tyler, bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer John Douglas and guitarist Brad Whitford, who are all over the age of 70. Tyler, 75, is the oldest of the group. Founding drummer Joey Kramer will not be part of the tour as he’s been on leave to “focus his attention on his family and health.”

The Grammy-winning group plans to dig into its catalog of rock classics, including “Sweet Emotion,” “Crazy,” “Janie’s Got a Gun,” “Livin’ on the Edge” and the Run-DMC collaboration “Walk This Way.”

“We’re opening up Pandora’s Box one last time to present our fans with the Peace Out tour,” Tyler said in a statement to The Associated Press. “Be there or beware as we bring all the toys out of the attic. Get ready.”
