2024 Olympics opening ceremony: How to watch Paris parade of athletes for free on NBC

The Olympics opening ceremony will be held on Friday, July 26 (7/26/2024) at 1:30 p.m. ET and will be live-streamed on NBC, Peacock, and other services listed below. A primetime coverage of the opening ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The event is expected to last more than 3 hours and will start at the Austerlitz Bridge beside the Jardin des Plantes and make its way on the course of the Seine. Unlike past ceremonies, Athletes will board boats with LeBron James and Coco Gauff being the Team USA flag bearers.

Where can I watch the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony?

Viewers can stream the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony on Peacock, Sling (half off), fuboTV (free trial), DirecTV Stream (free trial), and Max.

Mike Tirico, Kelly Clarkson, and Peyton Manning will host NBC’s broadcast of the opening ceremony, while NBC Sports’ Maria Taylor will join the athletes on the Team USA boat.
